VF Corporation and North Carolina State in new agreement

Outdoor group VF Corporation has announced a new partnership with North Carolina State University, long one of the world’s main academic institutions for textile innovation.

On announcing the development, VF said it will support student development at NC State and will aim to use the links to the university to advance apparel and textile innovation within VF and to find its future business leaders.

Chief executive, Steve Rendle, said: “VF is proud to partner with NC State University, one of the world’s top universities and home to the only college in the US devoted entirely to textiles. Through our shared expertise in research and consumer insights, we aim to stimulate apparel innovation while also developing a consistent pipeline of exceptional leaders for our company.”
