Specialist textile chemical company DyStar has added to its Cadira system for saving resources in textile dyeing.

Introduced in 2016, Cadira can offer textile manufacturers savings in process costs, waste, water and energy consumption. Since then it has launched a range of Cadira “concepts” for various applications.

The newest one is Cadira Reactive/Disperse Continuous, a modified pad-dry-thermosol-pad-steam (PDTPS) dyeing process for open-width fabrics. In contrast to the standard PDTPS process, Cadira Reactive/Disperse Continuous does not require a separate reduction clearing process and can therefore offering savings of more than 40% in chemicals, water and energy, DyStar has said.
