DyStar clamps down on counterfeit dyes
15/11/2018
The dyes in question were detained following a customs application by the company. A preliminary injunction order was then granted, before the offending company agreed to the destruction and to pay compensation to DyStar before a final court verdict was announced.
This action is part of a wider anti-counterfeiting programme that DyStar has operated worldwide since 2013. Turkey has been a particular focus for these endeavours, with the company carrying out various activities with Turkish customs authorities in order to crackdown on infringements of its patents.
DyStar has said that thanks to these actions, it has secured the seizure of more than 100 tonnes of infringing product in Turkey.
