DyStar to set up global innovation centre in Nanjing
Textile chemical manufacturer DyStar is to establish a new global innovation centre at its production site in Nanjing, China. The company says it shows its “commitment to continuous innovation”.

The facility will include state-of-the-art laboratories for research and development (R&D) and process technology development. There will be separate areas dedicated to the synthesis and finish of dyes and chemicals for Dystar’s textile and industrial operations. A scale-up unit for small productions will also be houses in the new facility.

The R&D centre will focus on the development of new molecules and chemicals and will be completed by the end of March 2017. DyStar says the plans for the facility are inspired by sustainable architecture and construction.
