Techtextil signs up first official academic partner

The organisers of the Techtextil North America exhibition have announced that North Carolina State University’s College of Textile will be the official academic partner of the 2019 edition of the event.

Techtextil North America 2019 will take place in Raleigh, North Carolina from February 26-28. Its new academic partner is located just minutes from the venue of the exhibition, the Raleigh Convention Centre. 

The university’s College of Textiles serves as a hub for textile research and development, as well as supplying new textile industry talent for the whole of the US. 

“We are thrilled about this new endeavor and our first ever official academic partnership with North Carolina State University’s College of Textiles,” said Kristy Meade, show director. “Through our collaboration, Techtextil North America 2019 will serve as a direct link between innovators of industry and the next generation of textile professionals, and we hope to create an engaging environment that sparks new ideas, partnerships, and industry growth.”
