Record visitor numbers at Techtextil North America

This represents an increase of 52% compared to the 2017 edition, which took place in Chicago. The show’s venue alternates between Atlanta (in even-numbered years) and another North American city (in odd-numbered years). The 2019 edition was the highest attended odd-year show to date, according to the organisers.
Visitors this year included industry executives, buyers, technical directors and product development managers from brands such as Nike, Arc’teryx, Target and HanesBrands.
As for previous editions, Techtextil NA 2019 held a symposium covering topics related to technical textiles and nonwovens. There was also a new demonstration area, ‘The Lab’, where visitors could see new equipment and technology used in textile testing and standards.
