Techtextil NA 2019 to draw attention to textile testing standards

The 2019 edition of the Techtextil North America exhibition will take place in Raleigh, North Carolina from February 26-28 and registration is now open, the organisers have announced. 

“Decision makers from all of the major industries that touch technical textiles and nonwovens attend Techtextil North America to conduct business and discover the latest product developments and industry trends,” trade show organiser Messe Frankfurt said. 

As for previous editions, Techtextil North America 2019 will hold a symposium, during which a number of industry leaders and subject matter experts will discuss the most important developments in research and technology. Topics covered will include smart textiles, new fibre developments and advancements in nonwovens. 

There will also be a new feature in February in the form of a testing demonstration area that the organisers are calling “The Lab”. Here, visitors will be able to see demonstrations of equipment and technology related to textile testing and standards. It is hoped this will give them a better understanding of the latest industry standards.
