Techtextil NA signs up new academic partner

The organisers of Techtextil North America have announced that the Georgia Institute of Technology’s School of Materials Science and Engineering will be its official academic partner for the 2020 edition of the exhibition. 

It launched the academic partnership programme in 2019, selecting North Carolina State University’s College of Textiles as its inaugural partner for the event that took place in Raleigh in February.

With the exhibition moving on to Atlanta next year, the organisers sought out a local partner. 

In additional, Texprocess Americas, which is co-located with Techtextil NA, will join the programme in 2020. Its first academic partner is the University of Georgia’s Textiles, Merchandising and Interiors programme.
