Exhibitors eager for Techtextil and Texprocess

Organisers of Techtextil and Texprocess have confirmed exhibitor space is almost full for the June 2022 edition, which was rescheduled from last year.

Around 900 exhibitors from 45 countries, including the organisers of joint stands, have registered to take part in Frankfurt.

The registration status is over 85% for Techtextil and over 70% for Texprocess based on the last events in 2019.

Olaf Schmidt, vice president of textiles at Messe Frankfurt, said: “The sector is in motion again and people have a great need to find out about the latest developments and see innovations live.

“Since the outbreak of the pandemic, companies have had faced a variety of new challenges. Many have undergone a complete restructuring and, simultaneously, launched a host of innovations. Now, they want to discuss them with an international audience of trade visitors.”

The fairs will put the spotlight on sustainability in June 2022. Expert discussions will supplement the subject and a new category in the Techtextil and Texprocess Innovation Awards will honour outstanding achievements relating to sustainability in the sector.

There will also be a new area dedicated to start-ups.
