Reebok names new head of Classics business
Sportswear brand Reebok has appointed Kelly Hibler as general manager of its Classics business, which is responsible for its range of heritage products.

In this role, he will lead the division’s overall strategy, including product creation, marketing, merchandising and channel segmentation. This includes for its retro footwear models, such as the Classic Leather, Club C and Freestyle, as well as for its more modern lifestyle footwear, apparel and accessories.

Mr Hibler joins after 28 years at Nike, long-term rival of Reebok’s parent company adidas. He was most recently vice president of Nike’s global basketball footwear division. During this time, he oversaw the launch of its second and third largest basketball franchises and managed a range of top lifestyle footwear franchises.

“Kelly is an incredible addition to the team,” said Reebok president Matt O’Toole. “His leadership, product creation and marketing expertise, along with his overall knowledge of our industry, will be a huge asset for not only our Classics business, but our company as a whole.”
