VF selects location for new Denver headquarters

20/09/2018
Apparel and footwear group VF has announced that its new global headquarters will be located in the lower downtown district of Denver.

It will be home to a number of its brands, including Vans, Timberland and The North Face, as well as housing VF’s innovation centre for technical fabrics and its digital lab.

The move follows VF’s announcement in August that it would separate the company into two separate entities. This will involve the spin-off of its denim brands, Wrangler and Lee, into a separate company, the global headquarters of which will be in Greensboro, North Carolina, VF’s current home.

VF has signed a 12-year lease on a building on Denver’s Wewatta Street. It will occupy all 10 stories of the building. Renovation of the property will begin in early 2019 with a completion date targeted for early 2020.

It has an estimated capacity of 1,200 people, giving VF the opportunity to expand its workforce in Denver beyond the 800 jobs it expects to create over the next eight years.
