Montane launches in-house repair service

UK-based outdoor brand Montane has officially launched a repair service that allows customers to send back damaged products so they can be repaired by its in-house team.

The launch coincided with the period when many companies offer deep discounts as a result of what has come to be known as Black Friday. In a post on social media, Montane made it clear that it takes no part in such activities.

It said: “We don’t take part in the madness that is Black Friday or Cyber Monday. We believe in producing quality products that last, but we appreciate accidents will happen, so yesterday we officially launched our in-house repair service. Now our customers can ensure their favourite Montane gear can remain in use for even longer.”

Drawing on their extensive design and manufacturing experience, its in-house team can offer repairs for a variety of products. This includes patch and panel repairs, seam retaping, and zip slider repair or replacement. 

“We will always aim to repair items with identical, or similar, materials and restore them to their original performance levels,” Montane has added.
