Deckers continues its strong year in the third quarter

Footwear group Deckers has reported net sales of $873.8 million in the third quarter of the financial year (ended December 31), an increase of 7.8% compared to the same period of the previous year.

Sales from the Ugg brand made up more than 85% of the group’s revenue during the quarter. Its sales for this period totalled $761 million, up 3.6% year-on-year.

Running shoe brand Hoka One One continued its impressive upward trajectory, bagging sales of $56.9 million, an increase of nearly 80% compared to the previous year.

The news from the group’s other brands was mixed, with Teva brand sales increasing 17.5% to $22.9 million and Sanuk brand sales falling 7% to $12.9 million. 

Deckers’ US revenue was up 14.2% to $573 million, but its overseas sales fell 2.6% to $300.8 million.
