Hugo Boss capsule collection uses traceable wool

Clothing brand Hugo Boss has worked with Biella-based merino wool fabric producer Reda to launch a new capsule collection called Traceable Wool.

Wool fibres for the collection come from certified growers in New Zealand who adhere to what the brand calls “the highest animal welfare standards”, including being mulesing-free. Preparation, dyeing, spinning and weaving takes place at Reda’s facility in the province of Biella before going for tailoring at Hugo Boss’s factory in Turkey.

At the time of the launch, Hugo Boss said: “The entire manufacturing process is meticulously supervised and tracked, from the origins of the wool to the finished product. The resulting collection, crafted from Merino wool, has been created with the highest level of welfare and sustainable production practices.”
