TNF Japan releases Gore-Tex all-weather knit shoe

The Velocity Knit Gore-Tex Invisible Fit shoe, which comes in high-top and low-top versions, are currently only available on Japan’s Goldwin’s website, with no mention yet on the North Face website.
Uppers of the shoes are said to be water-repellent and breathable, achieved by attaching Gore-Tex Invisible Fit membrane to the stretch knit. Xtrafoam is used to give extra shock absorption and stability, and the shoe has a Vibram XS Trek outsole.
“While waterproof shoes are often unfashionable, The North Face created all-weather lifestyle shoes so as to overturn this stereotype,” according to a translated description on Goldwin’s website. “This innovative shoe, which has a highly simple design and silhouette, realized by the knit upper structure, will fit any, age, gender, people, field and weather.”
