Promotion for star executive at Levi's

Denim and clothing group Levi Strauss & Co made a number of management changes at the start of the year.

Roy Bagattini, executive vice-president and president for Levi Strauss Americas, is leaving on February 16 to assume a CEO position. 

Marc Rosen, executive vice-president and president of Direct-to-Consumer, will take over his role.
Mr Rosen will be responsible for leading the company’s largest commercial operations, spanning all brands and channels across the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil and Latin America. 

“Marc has a proven track record, having led our Direct-to-Consumer business through 15 consecutive quarters of double-digit growth,” said Chip Bergh, president and CEO of Levi Strauss & Co. 

“His passion for the consumer, paired with his extensive experience working with wholesale customers, makes him the perfect choice to lead our largest and most complex business.” 

Mr Bergh added: “Roy has been a vital member of the team that led LS&Co’s turnaround. He is a respected leader whose insights and perspective helped to shape our winning strategy.”

Levi Strauss & Co products are sold in 110 countries through a combination of chain retailers, department stores, online sites and a 3,000 retail stores and shop-in-shops. 

Levi Strauss & Co's 2018 net revenues were $5.6 billion.
