Ambush co-creator Yoon Ahn, whose jewelry brand creates “innovative pop art-inspired designs capturing a distinct Tokyo aesthetic”, recently gave a sneak peek at a faux-fur covered pair of Converse sneakers. 

The Ambush x Converse Chuck Taylor All Star collaboration features Converse’s most recognisable shoe looking nearly unrecognisable with faux blue fur covering almost the entire surface of the high top. 

A circular break in furry texture allows the Converse logo to remain visible on one side of each shoe, and a black Ambush logo is affixed to the heel. 

Ahn posted a photo of the shoes on Instagram, with very sew details. “2020AW CHUCKS will be my mood this year,” the post said, adding that shoes would arrive in Autumn 2020.
