Oros, the outdoor wear apparel known for using space-worthy aerogel for insulation, has collaborated with astronauts on a limited-edition jacket.

Designed with modular insulation said to be inspired by astronaut spacesuits, the Oros 39A Flight Jacket is named for NASA’s launch pad 39A, which the company described as “the unofficial-official launchpad of cosmic human exploration”.

Only 400 will be produced; each will come hand-signed by a Hall of Fame NASA Astronaut and will include a certificate of authenticity. A part of the purchase price will go to the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation, a non-profit that provides scholarships to college students in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
