Sports company Puma has launched a new football boot called the Future Z 1.1.

It said the most important innovation the new boot offers is a compression band, which it has called Fuzionfit+, placed at the mid-foot. Puma developed the band using a special combination of polyester and spandex yarns, which it said helps to create a balance between compression, comfort and durability.

The upper is made from a new, coated, knitted material.

The company said the boot will be worn by “dynamic and creative playmakers”, including Paris Saint-Germain’s Neymar (pictured) and Borussia Dortmund’s Marco Reus.
