Ningbo chosen for fourth Avery Dennison Experience lab
Labelling solutions developer Avery Dennison has partnered with knitted garment manufacturer Shenzhou International Holdings to launch ADX Lab Ningbo.
ADX stands for Avery Dennison Experience; the Ningbo lab is the fourth ADX the company has set up, following others in Norway, Italy and Panyu in China. A fifth will follow in the US at the start of 2022.
At a launch event, the partners said the lab would provide a platform for apparel industry stakeholders to see new technology, materials and solutions “and explore how these can be put into development”.
Vice-president for apparel solutions at Avery Dennison, Michael Barton, announced that virtual visits to the lab will be possible from July 30. “Our customers can be inspired by this immersive experience from the comfort of their own homes,” he said.
