‘Right foundation’ makes Canada Goose optimistic about next year
Outdoor brand Canada Goose has reported revenues of around 290 million Canadian dollars for the first six months of its current financial year, an increase of more than 30% compared to the same period a year earlier.
Chief executive, Dani Reiss, said second-quarter results in particular demonstrated that the company has good momentum. “Across all channels, we are seeing strong leading indicators of peak-season demand,” he said.
Mr Reiss also noted that Canada Goose’s growing direct-to-consumer business, plus what he referred to as “growing lifestyle relevance and unique supply chain flexibility” meant the company had the right foundation in place for an outstanding fiscal year next year.
