Kaiser introduces ‘advanced’ colour fading

The new Advanced Used Look concept makes it possible to obtain washed-down effects, and the coveted whitened fading that indigo delivers on denims, but applies here to pigment dyed items.
Serdar Demircioglu, Kaiser Tekstil sales and marketing director, said: “Until now, faded effects on colours other than indigo would generally not have a high colour fastness."
The company’s process, which is patent pending, achieves a colour fastness of 5 for washing and crocking.
In the Advanced Used-Look process, garments are treated in waterless conditions and without hazardous chemicals such as potassium permanganate. It also contributes to saving time and energy, the company said.
“Advanced Used Look offers a sustainable solution for all colours as it does not require water nor harmful bleaching agents,” added Mr Demircioglu.
