Offering a striking contrast to the conventional ultra clean aesthetics of functional fabrics, Korean company Seojin Textiles, or Rich Tiger, specialises in creating fine faded finishings. The company operates both a manufacturing facility and a laundry, Kris Kim, company vice-president, told Inside Denim. 

Rich Tiger has developed a special dyeing technique, he said, which is applied to cotton/nylon blend fabrics. These can also undergo a peach finish for extra softness. For added texture, motifs and checks can be embossed on the fabric before finishing. 

The fabrics have a distinctive urban tech look, and were on show at Milano Unica and Functional Fabric Fair this past July. Rich Tiger will also be exhibiting at Première Vision this coming September.
