Nike scores women's deal with the FA

In the capacity of Official Ball Supplier, Nike will expand its existing partnership with the FA, first established in 2013, by further opening up access to its technologies to women and girls.
Features built into one such technology, Aerowsculpt, include surface-level tweaks which, according to the developer, result in less wobble and a more focused, predictable flight path. This is also supported by a 3D-printed ink overlay, in addition to All Conditions Control grip reinforcement for wet and dry conditions alike.
“The energy in women’s football in England right now has never been higher as we enter into this partnership at such a critical moment in our longstanding efforts to help keep growing the women’s game,” said vice-president for Nike’s global women’s division, Whitney Malkiel.
