Textile testing service provider Hohenstein has set up a new laboratory in Shanghai, saying it will “serve the pulse of the textile industry”.

The new laboratory, located in Pudong, will open for business in the first quarter of 2023, adding to Hohenstein’s capacity to offer suppliers, manufacturers, brands and retailers in the region testing services on textile quality; it already has a laboratory in Hong Kong.

“We are very pleased to celebrate another milestone in our international expansion,” said Hohenstein chief executive, Dr Stefan Mecheels. “No matter where the examinations, tests and analyses are carried out, all our laboratories work with state-of-the-art equipment and the same high standards.”
