Celliant stretches to kinesiology tape
US kinesio tape brand KT has become the “first” company of its kind to use Celliant infrared technology from Hologenix in its kinesiology therapeutic tape, a stretchable material used to help with muscle movement and rehabilitation.
The product, called KT Tape Pro Oxygen, features Celliant’s blend of infrared-generating bioceramic minerals printed onto its surface, intended to improve local cellular oxygenation where applied to strengthen blood flow and increase circulation. It is currently retailing for $24.99.
KT chief executive, Jessica Klodnicki, described the technology as the brand's “new flagship product” and evidence of its “commitment to enhancing athletic performance and recovery” through ongoing development.
“We couldn’t be more pleased to be working with KT and consider it an honour to boost their best-in-class products with [our] infrared advantage,” commented Hologenix co-founder and chief executive, Seth Casden.
