Programme leader, Dr Emma Jenkins, said the full-time course had been developed alongside industry experts and is intended to hone students’ skills, knowledge and experience in preparation for a specialist, yet versatile, design career in the sports and outdoor field. The first intake will join in September.
According to a dedicated course information page, learners will benefit from a range of on-campus facilities, including 3D printing and prototyping technology, workshops equipped for experiments with wood, plastics, ceramics and more, photography studios, a creative media centre and 24-hour library and study space access.
Those interested in learning more about the course are invited to attend a postgraduate open evening at the university on May 17, currently due to take place between 4 pm and 7 pm.
