The director general of Euratex (the body that represents the textile and apparel sector in the European Union), Dirk Vantyghem, will be one of the speakers at a new, one-day sustainable fashion summit in Madrid.

Mr Vantyghem is joined on the speakers’ list for the new event, Move, by Ecoalf founder, Javier Goyeneche, director of sustainability and sourcing at Mango, Andrés Fernández, the founder of Worn Again Technologies, Cyndi Rhoades, and many others.

Move will take place at La Nave, an event venue and start-up hub in the south of the Spanish capital, on June 21. It is sponsored by professional services firm EY.
