Sports group Nike has reported revenues of $12.9 billion for the first quarter of its current business year. This represents an increase of 2% compared to the same period last year.

Chief executive, John Donahoe, said the results were “proof of what Nike can deliver when we connect great innovation, great storytelling and great marketplace experiences to consumers”.
