CNTAC hosts eighteenth China textile roundtable

The eighteenth annual China Textile Roundtable Forum took place in the nation’s capital in February.

Hosted by China National Textile and Apparel Council (CNTAC) and co-organised by Beijing Fashion Holdings, the general theme was “developing new textile productivity” through innovation.

In his opening speech, director of the ministry of industry and information technology’s consumer goods department, He Yaqiong, said more fruitful integration of domestic scientific and technological know-how would foster the development of “a modern and powerful socialist country in an all-round way”.

CNTAC president, Sun Ruizhe, told attendees that the country's textile industry had “withstood the pressures” of three years of covid-19 prevention and control measures to “make solid progress” over the course of 2023.
