Prada kits out China women’s football team
Milanese luxury house Prada has outfitted the China women’s national football team with new formalwear uniforms ahead of Chinese New Year (CNY) on February 10.
Nicknamed the “steel roses” by fans, the squad represents the People’s Republic of China in international competitions and is governed by the Chinese Football Association, which also takes care of futsal and beach soccer in the country.
The custom-made uniforms are comprised of black woollen tailored suits, embroidered with the team’s purple phoenix emblem and paired with blue-and-white-striped, red-collared silk shirts.
