Revenue growth and emissions reduction for Decathlon in 2023

Sports group Decathlon has reported full-year revenues of €15.6 billion for 2023, an increase of 4.4% compared to the previous year.

It achieved this result while cutting its total carbon emissions by 10%, compared to the figures for 2021.

In the course of 2023, Decathlon sold just under 1.2 billion products across the 1,749 stores it runs in 78 markets, and through its digital channels. Its total number of employees at the end of last year was 101,000.

Commenting on the results, chief executive, Barbara Martin Coppola, said she was proud to have achieved a 10% reduction in carbon emissions while maintaining revenue growth. “This is an absolute priority for Decathlon, as part of our commitment to preserving our shared playground,” she explained.
