Decathlon plans to expand in India

French sporting goods retailer Decathlon has announced it will invest €100 million over the next five years to build up its retail and manufacturing network in India.

Local media have reported that Decathlon expects to double its business in the country in the next three to five years.

The group aims to open 10-15 new stores annually and increase local production to 85% by 2026, said Reuters.
