Sports retailer Decathlon has appointed of Julien Leclercq chairman, succeeding Fabien Derville, who has held the position since 2018.

Julien began as a department manager in Spain and progressed through roles including store manager in Belgium and founder of Decathlon’s operations in Singapore. 

He said: "Decathlon is not just a company; it’s a team of passionate individuals dedicated to making sports accessible to everyone. My focus is to empower our people, strengthen our human-centric culture, and ensure Decathlon remains a place of growth and inspiration for future generations."
