Panel discussion on circularity at Functional Fabric Fair
Senior representatives of Lenzing, YKK, Allied Feather & Down, Woolmark and other brands and organisations will take part in a panel discussion on the circular economy at the Functional Fabric Fair in Portland on April 17.
Organiser of the panel discussion, communications agency Formidable Media, chose the name ‘Designing For Circularity’ as the theme, but said in the build-up: “In a quickly changing textile marketplace with increasing regulatory pressures, designing circular products can be anything but simple.”
It said the panellists would seek to inform product designers and developers about circularity and to inspire them to adopt circular principles in their materials sourcing and manufacturing strategies.
The spring edition of the Functional Fabric Fair runs in Portland on April 17 and 18.
