TNF and Icebreaker team up for ‘plastic free’ collection

18/04/2024

Outdoor brands The North Face and Icebreaker have collaborated on a merino blend adventure wear capsule for spring/summer 2024.

The fabric blends merino wool with Tencel, made from wood pulp, and is “100% plastic-free”.

One of Icebreaker’s sustainability targets was to go plastic free by 2023, a target it missed by only 4%.

Neil Baker, creative director at Icebreaker, said: “In collaborating with The North Face, we’ve crafted a collection where sustainable innovation meets timeless design.

“Our natural fibres performance apparel seamlessly blends style with function, empowering adventurers to connect with the great outdoors in comfort and harmony.”

The two brands are owned by VF Corporation.
