VF publishes Environmental & Social Responsibility report
Outdoor group VF Corporation has published its fiscal year 2023 Environmental & Social Responsibility report, Purpose Driven, in which it reveals 40% of the polyester it sources is from recycled sources.

This is up from 36% last year, edging it towards the target of 50% by 2026.

Examples of VF brand initiatives and achievements during the year include Smartwool’s first plus-size base layers; Vans’ Off The Wall Pride Gallery Collection and donations to LGBTQ+ advocacy organisations; nearly half of Icebreaker’s wool is now sourced from regenerative practices; The North Face launched its first circular design products; and Timberland, Vans and The North Face have launched products featuring regeneratively grown natural rubber.

Bracken Darrell, VF’s CEO, said: “I’m impressed with the progress the company made in FY23, and we will remain focused on this important work as a key element of our overall business strategy."
