Vivo’s Survival Collection is a decade in the making
Footwear brand Vivobarefoot has released the first designs in a collection “curated to empower people to move naturally and harmoniously across the Earth’s five biomes: the jungle, desert, forest, aquatic environments and tundra”.

The Ecological Survival Collection (ESC) has been in development since 2013, designed and tested alongside wilderness skills instructor Ben McNutt, local communities and survival experts.

The Magna Forest ESC is flexible, rugged hiking boot with all-terrain capability and excellent breathability. The Hydra ESC is a swim, run and trail trainer, created alongside athletes to glide underwater, grip on land, and drain and dry quickly. The Jungle ESC is a barefoot leather boot.

Tundra ESC and Desert ESC are set to launch later in the year.
