Bluesign can help make promotional products more sustainable
Bluesign Technologies, which works to certify textile chemicals as being safe for use in apparel, will be represented at the Promotional Products Association International (PPAI) North America leadership conference. The event takes place in Salt Lake City from May 5-7.
Chief executive of Bluesign, Daniel Rufenacht, will take part in a panel discussion that will examine the European Union’s role in establishing a partnership model for establishing possible sustainable solutions for branded apparel and other promotional products.
PPAI has said sustainability in the promotional products domain is just beginning to gain traction in North America. It added: “Bluesign is poised to be recognised as a trailblazer in guiding this market segment towards greener practices and conscious chemical management across their supply chains.”
