New Bluesign CEO sees regulation as an opportunity
Chemicals-focused certification company Bluesign has appointed Hanane Taidi as CEO as the organisation “steps into a more operational role”.
She most recently served as director general of TIC Council, the international voice of the testing, inspection and certification industry
With experience working closely with regulatory bodies, including as a European Commission expert since 2014, she will guide the company through a changing landscape shaped by frameworks such as CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) and ESPR (Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation).
Ms Taidi’s priorities include expanding access to data across all tiers of manufacturing, strengthening collaboration across the System Partner network and translating complex regulatory frameworks into solutions for brands and manufacturers.
She said: “Bluesign has built a powerful foundation rooted in science and trust. The opportunity ahead is to scale that impact, giving the industry the tools, data and systems needed to turn responsibility into measurable progress.”
