Thermore introduces first T2T insulation
A maker of high performance and low impact thermal insulation, Thermore is introducing its first references made from textile waste with the launch of Ecodown Fibres T2T. This, according to managing director Patrizio Siniscalchi, has been in the works for a while at Thermore. “Just as we pioneered the use of recycled fibres from PET bottles over 40 years ago, in recent years we have worked on the regeneration of textile waste. Ecodown Fibers T2T is the second generation of padding we have produced using these important resources.”

The new insulation is made from 80% recycled polyester from post-industrial textile waste and 20% from PET plastics. It carries GRS certification along with bluesign and Oeko-Tex 100.

In addition to its circular nature, Ecodown T2T features the same high-performance properties of all Thermore’s free fibre references, which are integrated into apparel like natural down.

The new product will be highlighted at Thermore’s booth at Performance Days next week.
