Italian polyamide developer Fulgar has earned Recycled Claim Standard certification for its Q-Cycle yarn.

Q-Cycle is a polyamide 6.6 yarn for which the raw material is pyrolysis oil from end-of-life or decommissioned tyres. It is produced in line with the principles of mass balance.

Fulgar’s head of marketing, Alan Garosi, said Recycled Claim Standard certification would enable the company to offer “greater safety and reliability” in presenting Q-Cycle to the market.
