Slim innovation is a significant step forward, Thermore says
Insulation technology developer Thermore has launched a product called Invisiloft, describing it as “revolutionary slim insulation that combines exceptional warmth with unprecedented thinness”.
It said offering a high level of insulating capacity while minimising bulk was “a significant step forward” in the design of technical garments, including high-performance sportswear. To achieve a high level of thermal insulation, the global company with headquarters in Milan, Italy, said it had processed and arranged the fibres in a specialised manner to maximise their warmth retention properties.
The technology is also well-suited for everyday wear, Thermore said, thanks to its packable nature, allowing jackets and outerwear to be easily stored in small spaces without compromising functionality.
It is made from 100% recycled fibres with Global Recycled Standard certification and is available in four different weights between 100 and 200 grammes per square-metre.
