Primark expands sports & athleisure offering

The new collections introduced this January feature some 150 items, nearly doubling the retailer’s usual sports-oriented ranges. They feature seamless knits, along with functional fabrics offering water-resistance, four-way stretch or wicking properties.
The launch is backed by a digital marketing campaign with high-profile ambassadors.
From March on, and in a selection of stores, these sports-oriented collections will be presented in dedicated spaces outfitted with ‘ballet bar’ inspired rails, lifestyle images and gym flooring.
