Texworld returns to Le Bourget exhibition centre
For its next edition, from February 10 to 12, the international fabric and apparel sourcing show will be held once again at the Paris-Le Bourget exhibition halls north of the French capital. The post-pandemic Texworld shows took place at the Porte de Versailles exhibition centre.

The 1,200 exhibitors will occupy Halls 2, 3 and 4 in an entirely redesigned space, said Messe Frankfurt, the show’s organiser. Alongside the long-time fabric making countries that exhibit at Texworld (China, Turkey, India, Korea and Taiwan are its five leading manufacturers by country), new sourcing destinations for textiles such as Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Egypt and even the United Kingdom and Netherlands will be featured.

The show’s Denim sector will be larger, with some thirty exhibitors, including China’s Winwin Textile and Bangladesh’s NZ Denim. In the new floor plan, a large area in Hall 3 will be devoted to the outdoor, sportswear and casualwear markets.

The apparel sourcing section will feature some 500 companies. A new ‘Initiatives’ zone, located at the entrance of Hall 4, is where buyers looking for innovative textiles will find new offerings. Vietnamese mill Bao Lan Textile will be featuring fabrics made from pineapple leaf fibres there.

Three different ‘itineraries’ will also be proposed to buyers: an Econogy Finder for sustainable solutions, Small Quantity suppliers that can offer lower MOQs (less than 300 pieces for garments or less than 100 metres for fabrics) will be signalled, and Hand Made, which identifies 100+ companies capable of offering authentic handmade products or unique skills.
