Texworld optimises its layout
26/01/2026
The show’s layout has been reorganised to better address buyers’ needs. The ‘All About Her’ section of Apparel Sourcing is now grouped with Texworld’s Knit fabric suppliers in Hall 3, which also features national pavilions and the Elite sector. The Activewear and Casual & Sport sectors are housed in Hall 4, and the Print and Jacquard zones are now located close to the Silky Aspects. Hall 2 is dedicated to inspiration, information and networking around the trend forums, conferences space and service areas.
Texworld Paris will showcase 591 exhibitors from 18 countries, with a noted increase in suppliers of performance fabrics for sports apparel. Apparel Sourcing Paris will feature 500 exhibitors from 25 countries. This season marks a significant growth of suppliers based in Bangladesh, with some 26 companies specialising mainly in sportswear and casualwear, the organisers said.
The section dedicated to near sourcing is four times larger than last season’s, with exhibitors from Portugal, Turkey, Bulgaria, Greece, Slovakia, Morocco and the like. Set up in a partnership with Foursource, a digital sourcing platform, this hybrid space combines the physical collections of 15 manufacturers with digital collections. Fabric swatches from some thirty exhibitors will be presented with QR codes to place an order via the online platform.
Focus on responsibility
The Econogy Hub, Messe Frankfurt’s sustainability framework, will feature a “Zero Waste Couture” exhibition, curated by fashion designer and artist Lea Theres-Lahr Thiele. France’s Fédération de la Mode Circulaire is taking part in the event to showcase innovative materials including biobased textiles such as BioFluff and a new low impact hemp solution developed by 91530 Le Marais.
The programme of conferences has been streamlined, with panel talks on AI-assisted design, innovation, waste prevention, collective action, polyester and market economics.
