Korea Textile Center taking 10 suppliers to Shanghai
Korea Textile Center (KTC), a non-profit which exists to engage international buyers and promote exports of South Korea-made textiles around the world, has told local media that it will exhibit the latest fabrics from ten domestic manufacturers at this month’s Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics trade show.
Among those selected to travel with the organisation are suppliers Chungnam Knit, Seyang Textile and Baeksan Jacquard. Their booth will occupy a 72-square-metre area.
The three-day fair will be the first China-based exhibition KTC has officially participated in since before covid-19, it said, adding that each producer it will take to the event has been chosen in light of the value they could bring to the Chinese market. Those not able to attend the show in person are invited to look over the articles on display in its virtual showroom.
Although headquartered in Daegu, KTC has offices in Shanghai, New York and Los Angeles, as well as agents operating on its behalf in cities from Cape Town to Casablanca, Istanbul and São Paulo.
