BlackYak to sponsor South Korean curling
Seoul-based outdoor company BlackYak has entered into an agreement with the Korea Curling Federation.
Under the terms of the deal, signed on February 24, BlackYak will sponsor all national squad uniforms, as well as gear worn by coaching staff and federation officials, local media reported.
Founder and chairman of the brand, Kang Tae-sun (pictured left), said it would now actively work to support team performance and endeavour to help popularise the sport across the country.
The city of Gangneung, Gangwon-do province, will host this year’s World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship from April 22 to 29.
