Chief executive appointment at Brrr
Cooling fabric technology developer Brrr has announced Christopher Heyn as its new chief executive.
Mr Heyn has been the Atlanta-based company’s executive chairman, but will now assume the role of chief executive to lead it in what it called a new phase of innovation and growth.
His track-record in apparel and performance apparel includes a spell as chief executive of Lion Brothers before its acquisition by Avery Dennison. He also worked at Nautica and at the National Basketball Association (NBA).
He said: “I am honoured to serve as chief executive as well as executive chairman of Brrr as we focus on breakthrough innovations in cooling comfort fabric technologies.”
He insisted the company is “ideally positioned to scale across multiple markets” with its offer of “authentic and impactful solutions” to support a more comfortable lifestyle. But Brrr also said it will intensify its focus on high-growth categories, including athletic, golf, outdoor, uniform and workwear.
