Middle East move from Canada Goose
A few weeks after Canada Goose committed to making its product offerings “more balanced” and less dependent on cold weather, the company has announced its expansion into the Middle East.
It has agreed a multi-year partnership with Beside Group, a retail and distribution company with operations across the Middle East, headquartered in the United Arab Emirates.
Canada Goose said this new partnership was a demonstration of its commitment to “unlocking global growth opportunities”.
It said it would offer its full seasonal assortment of products through retail, wholesale and e-commerce opportunities that Beside Group will set up in the region, starting this autumn.
The Canadian company’s president for brand and commercial strategy, Carrie Baker, said: “We ready to grow, connect and build something that lasts in one of the most valuable markets in the world.”
Managing director of Beside Group, Hisham Bedier, said markets in the Middle East had always shown a strong appreciation for “premium, functional luxury”.
